Jailbreak iOS 7.0 - 7.0.6
NOTE: Jailbreaking is not supported by Apple and it could lead to losing your warranty, also it could make your device unstable. Choosing to jailbreak your device is done at your own risk.
1. PC running on Windows/Mac operating system
2. Battery level at more than 70%
Note: As a best practice, before proceeding to Jailbreak the device it will be better if you disable the Anti-virus/firewall protection. Also, we highly recommend you to create a back-up of your data using iCloud or iTunes. This way you will be able to restore all personal information if something goes wrong.
From the phone’s menu go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock
Step 2. Disable Find my iPhone
From the phone’s menu go to Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone
NOTE: You will need to Sign in on your iCloud account > Disable “Find my iPhone” and then Sign out from your iCloud account.
Step 3. Put the phone into Airplane mode
Step 4. Download the latest version of evasi0n7 software.
You can download it from HERE.
Step 5. Connect the device to a PC or Laptop, using an USB cable
Step 6. Launch the evasi0n7 software downloaded previously
Right click on the evasi0n7.exe file and Run as administrator (only for Windows users)
Step 7. Wait until the software detects your device and press the Jailbreak button
Step 8. Open the evasi0n7 app from the device
You will need to open the app installed on the device. Once done, the device will reboot and you will find the Cydia icon on your Home screen.
Step 9. Open Cydia app
From the phone's menu select the Cydia app and wait until the prerequisites files will be installed.
