App block - Questions and Answers

Q: How can I block applications?
A: You have to log in to your account with your email address and password and go to Applications menu on the left. Go to Block Applications and search for the apps you want to block. Now, you just have to switch the trigger located next to the name of the app, from Running to Blocked.

Q: What applications can be blocked?
A: With Easy Phone Track by number you can block any application installed by the user. You can’t block default applications that were installed by your phone manufacturer.

Q: Will any notification show when blocking an app?
A: Every time the system will prevent an app from being used on the target device, it will display a notification informing the user about it.

Q: How can I unblock an application on the tracked phone?
A: For temporarily unblocking applications, you will have to use the unlocking code that is provided on our website, under your account, in the Block Applications section. You will see a 4 digits code under the list of apps running on the phone.

Q: For how long will the applications be temporarily unblocked?
A: Using the code, you will temporarily unblock the application for 15 minutes. After this time, the application will be blocked again.

Q: How can I change the unlock code?
A: This code is generated by the system and will be assigned automatically. Unfortunately, it cannot be changed.

Q: In my account an app appears as blocked but the app can be used on the phone.
A: This might occur if the settings were not synchronized yet. By default, the process is completed within the next 12 hours, if the Internet connection enabled on the target phone. To synchronize them even faster you must reopen the application or restart the phone. Also, please keep in mind that a blocked application can be used if the unblock code was used in the last 15 minutes.
